I hope some of these projects will help someone who needs hope. |
By communicating my feelings and experiences, both before and after my surgery, I hope to calm the fears of both recipients, donors and their families. My e-mail information is listed on this site if you wish to contact me. |
I am using different tools to communicate that message: my website, my participation in events, through my network of friends, and anyone who will listen to my story.
This is one of my main projects. I am striving for accurate and helpful information for all of us who find ourselves struggling with kidney disease. Any thoughts and suggestions are always gratefully considered. E-mail: team.diane@yahoo.com |

This is NKF’s main fund-raising event, held every year. This year it will be held on May 18 , 2008, at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. In the last two years that I’ve participated, I’ve raised over $7,000. This year will be equally successful. Join us and go to “Team Diane” at: http://kidneywalkboston.kintera.org |

“20 million Americans - 1 in 9 US adults - have CKD and another 20 million more are at increased risk.
“Those at increased risk have diabetes, high blood pressure, family history, are older, or belong to a population group that has a high rate of diabetes or high blood pressure, such as African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian, Pacific Islanders, and American Indians.” NFK website |
